BAD_POOL_HEADER

I got this when formatting a CD-RW in Windows XP Drive E: using Sonic DLA.

BAD_POOL_HEADER
STOP: 0x00000019 (0x00000020............. and many other numbers

Now most of my CD's are read-only and RecordNow shows 'no recorder'

Any ideas?

A lot of good reading if you Google for that error.  Seems to be a driver issue with XP.  Have you changed the drive or added any new devices lately?  Guess you are lucky that you didn't get BSOD.

Update Xp to a higher service pack lately?

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
