Creator Premier came with my computer with MyDVD 10. Whenever I try to put a video that's using the XVID codec in MyDVD it has an error saying "Add movie operation failed. 80004005". I tried putting other videos in MyDVD that aren't using the codec and they works fine. I also tried uninstalling and installing the codec and it didn't work.

Most likely the version that came with your computer is an OEM version which means that it has many features crippled or even missing. The compatibility with the Xvid codec is one of those missing features.
