I'm writing wmv files. They always worked with this programme before. Can anyone shed any light on why this might be happening??

I've recently downgraded from Vista to XP and reinstalled Roxio. Now - it doesn't work. When I send the DVD to burn, the encoding preview just shows a blank, black movie, and writes far faster than it ever used to. When I play the finished DVD, all the audio is perfectly fine, but the screen remains blank. I now notice that when I preview the DVD, the video is also absent.

I've promised to get this DVD out to people ASAP, so this is very frustrating..

Right. Thanks. Although installing the software at that link appears to have done nothing whatsoever. Load the programme, load the file and then what do i do with this information? The source site looks like some drop-down menus should appear, but there's nothing like that.
