That is a bug and has been reported. It seems to occur mostly in Vista (64??)

If you have time, could you do another test with VCC using VIsta?

Using myDVD create a small (5-10secs) project and "burn" to Video_TS folder and/or iso file.
Then launch VCC and thn
-select Convert Video tab
-select Video on the Choose Output bar
-select AddSource/Movies and select the Video-TS folder or iso file and the "movie"
-select Preview on the right side of the VCC window
-the Caching title window should open

What happens now? Do you get the preview? Give it a minute.. If you don't get the preview, click cancel and .....

Boy Dave, Vista HP 32bit should be a walk in the park. Different story for "some" on 64 bit Vista though dry.gif

You think it would be a walk in the park. Not all software and hardware is created equal or operated the same for that matter. I am sure that I'll find some more issues.

"There is always one more bug, one more fix, one more enhancement, one more change, one more....." A quote from a system analyst over 35 years ago.

I am having the exact same problem but it is not consistent on what files and when it happens.

I am running Windows 7, 32bit (a fresh installation, not an upgrade).

The strange part for me is that some of the converts process fine other times it crashes. I have yet to find a common part to when something causes it to crash (ie open folder, type of file to convert, etc)
At first I thought it was because of screen savers or power saving mode, but I disabled all of that. (which are defaulted on W7)
Then I thought it might have to do with open files or multi-tasking while convert is processing. Nope both of those did not solve it.

Any thoughts
Kevin

You do not have the same problem at all blink.gif . Better start a new thread and explain exactly what you are doing
