I have been using Easy Media Creator for a few years now on my Windows PC.  I have just installed the Easy Media Creator Suite 9 into a VM Fusion environment for Windows XP on my new MacPro.  Whether I try to capture video or try to create a dvd I get the error message that "the display settings do not meet the minimum requirements for this application.  Please change the screen resolution to 1024 x 768 pixels or higher and color quality to 16-bit or higher." When I check the settings they are higher than required.  Changing them to the minimum required does not work.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

The problem is you are running the suite in an emulator and that will give you trouble with the graphics

VMWare uses its own generic 'driver' to emulate the correct one and that's where your problem lies.
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
