I'm currently running Creator 10 and 2009 Ultimate on one machine. Just purchased 2010 Pro and was wondering if I uninstalled 2009 from machine one if I could then install on machine 2? I realize you cannot download on two machines at the same time but not sure about uninstalling and reinstalling on a different one.
Also wondering if it makes a difference if you uninstall before or after installation of 2010?
You guys have always been a big help including just reading through the forum daily.
thanks much

Thanks for the quick reply.
And that's what I would have if uninstalled from PC 1 and installed on PC 2. Are you saying that's not allowed and won't work?

You can uninstall C2009 from PC1 and reinstall on PC2 without any licensing problems.
If you are going to uninstall C2009 then I would do it before installing C2010.
BTW, I assume by "Creator 10" you mean Easy Media Creator 10 (Or EMC 10) since there really is no such program as Creator 10.
You can have EMC 10 on the same machine as C2010. I kept mine since I have several projects on the go with EMC 10 and most projects are not compatible with other Roxio versions. Its always best to finish off any project in the version you started

I apologize, I may have confused you as to what I was wanting to do. I have 2009 running on PC 1. I want to remove it from PC 1 and install 2010 pro. Then I want to install 2009 on PC 2. I would have only one program 2010 on PC1 and 2009 on PC 2 running at one time.
Hope that makes more sense and maybe the answer is still the same and so be it.
Thanks again

Thanks much again for another quick response. And yes I did mean EMC 10 and like you I do want to keep it on PC 1 for the same reasons.
I figured my original question was confusing.

I agree that the first post was perfectly clear and not at all confusing.
I think Big Dave may be thinking about dual boot or ??.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
