[Salem Design]

I have some .qic files that were created by the Windows 98 backup software that I would like to restore onto a WinXP box.

Apparently Win XP's backup software uses a different format and will not read or restore .qic files.

I found from googling that Roxio Backup MyPC supported .qic files (hopefully the same format as what Microsoft used for .qic) but it appears that Roxio no longers sells Backup MyPC and the new Roxio BackOnTrack is a completely different beast and does not support .qic files.

Any suggestions on how to solve my problem would be appreciated.

If I can find an old copy of Backup MyPC, is it installable on a WinXP box? Is the Backup MyPC .qic the same as the the Microsoft Win98 backup format?
