I have been working on video project and have been getting the following error:
An unrecoverable device error occured. Error while recording Menus
This happens when the overall progress is 100% and the current task is 100%. I have two chapters on the main menu, Amsterdam and Germany, with dozens of movies under each chapter. I decided to burn them seperatly to see if I could figure where the problem was. They both burned properly and I was able to watch them no problem. I would however just like them to be on the same disk, but keep having this problem.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Not much information!
What program from EMC 10 are you using to burn? What format are the original videos? How long in time is the total video?

Sorry for the lack of information. I am using MyDVD to burn, I believe the type of file is MPEG movie clip, and as for total length, I'm not sure where to find that. It says "Used: 3971.4 MB Free: 728.6 MB Time Remaining: 11:45. I don't suspect that time is an issue.
Let me know if there is any more info I can provide you with. Thank you and please forgive my ignorance.

It appears that time is not a problem. (BTW, a standard 4.7GB DVD will only hold 60 minutes of video at best quality.)
Can you play your project when you use the myDVD Preview button?
If I understand correctly you have 2 Titles on the main menu page (they are not chapters) and each Title has "dozens" of chapters. How did your create the Titles on the main menu page? How did you create these chapters?
Perhaps you could describe step-by-step exactly what you are doing/did?

Yes it does play in myDVD preview.
You are correct that I have 2 titles on the main menu page and each title hase dozens of chapters.
I'm pretty sure that my method for creating DVD's is laughably simplistic. Once I load up MyDVD, I select the add submenu button and once in it, I select the add new move button and choose the proper video. I go from there until I have added what I need and then go to the main menue page and add another sub menu and repeat the process. I have had no problems with this method before and am stumped as to what is wrong. I have even gone as far as to start all over again from the beginning. But it seems as if I am making the same mistakes. Thanks again, myguggi.
