Here's my problem, I had bought a copy of the Easy VHS to DVD. I had installed the software and the Video Capture USB using Windows 7 and all went well. I was just getting to know the software and the main reason I had bought this software and hardware was to use it to stream video games live on the site Justin.tv. While still on WIndows 7 I was using the Flash Media Encoder to capture video and audio. I then tried to use a piece of software that wasn't compadable with Windows 7 and was scared by something and had jerked my laptop and I was connected to my Nintendo Wii and I jerked it hard enough that it made the plastic around the USB device to pop off and had bent the device. I then reverted back to Windows XP to make sure all of my software was compadable. I then tried to install the Easy VHS to DVD software and the Video Capture USB and all went well except install the audio driver for the video capture device. It installs the video driver fine, but when it's installing the audio device it says that there was a problem installing the driver and the hardware might not work properly. I then open the Flash Media Encoder and it says that there is a problem with ur audio device and it suggests that it may not be connected or the driver isn't installed right. So today I took back the device and exchanged it for a new set of the software and hardware and it's doing the same thing. So any suggestions to get this to work again since it was working in Windows 7, so idk why it wouldn't work with XP when it did with 7.

It sounds like you are allowing XP to do the installing… You do not want to let Windows do anything or it will never work!!!
Uninstall whatever you have done – reboot – insert the Device and cancel anything Windows offers – insert the disc and install from there.
That should do it – let us know.
