I have the same problem. On the first few tries I thought it was stopping on the Roxio USB Capture install, but I think it makes it past that and fails on the Venue (whatever that is) install. From the log:

Is it the system error 258 that is causing it to rollback?

And from the SONIC_SETUP Log file:

Some users have been successful by creating a New user admin account. Are you able to give it a shot and see if that helps while "SonicBoom" takes a look at the above log smile.gif

Before creating a new account I decided to try disabling User Account Control first, and that worked, for me at least. The program installed and I was able to run it. Now it's time to try it out.

Off topic but your username reminds me of an old band.Their name was SeaLevel also.
It was started by Chuck Leveall (hence the name) who was a keyboardist that played with the Stones and the Allman Brothers amongst others.

Sorry, just had to throw that out there. rolleyes.gif

That was actually part of where I got it - plus my house is about 18 feet above sea level in South Florida. This is the first time anyone has commented on it!

1618 means Another installation is already in progress. Not sure why that happening without looking at the msi log specific to Roxio Venue.msi
