If you have C2010 Pro and the USB capture device then you don't need VHS2DVD since this is only the "video" part of C2010. You should be able to capture just fine using C2010 and the capture device.

Pick – either you don’t get a full uninstall to prevent lose of both and the likelihood that it won’t work
Or you uninstall all and reinstall both.

I installed VHS2DVD after I had previously installed C2010 Pro. That worked O.K. and both programs seemed to work. HOWEVER, IMPO, you will not be able to uninstall VHS2DVD successfully. I tried several times with no luck. There seems to be files that either one is looking for when you try and uninstall, and it can't find them. I ended up doing a complete format. Then installed C2010 Pro back on by itself. As already suggested, if you have C2010 Pro and the USB capture device, you don't need VHS2DVD at all. so if someone else has some step by step directions as to how to uninstall VHS2DVD when C2010 Pro is also installed, I would sure like to hear them

restored pc and left things alone - will use Roxio Creator 2010 pro and stay away from the vhs2dvd program.
