I just purchased Creator 2010 today and I am having fits with it already. I have recieved error messages that says "no diskspace" but when I click on the "capture now" button it starts capturing again. I was also assured that I could set the capture time and it would capture what ever was on the screen weather it was a picture or nothing. It has stopped on me a couple of times when there is a dead spot between video clips on the tape I am trying to capture. Any suggestions?

I also just noticed that when I set up my software to capture that the Info shows that the "space left on drive" is 4.0GB when in fact I am capturing to an external hard drive the has about 200 GB available. and the "record time left" shows 18:45 even though I have set the capture time to 01:30:00. I don't understand this.

Split because it is not the same problem at all…

You have an external drive that is formatted in FAT32 which has a 4GB file size limit.

Format it in NTFS and you troubles will go away.
