when trying to add a video file already on computer it says that the video is unsearchable and has not been added. also says that video is not supported. I have used creator 9 to make DVD's from the same video camera before and had no problems on my old computer, this one is still XP but I'm wondering if I wasted my money. please help.

Which software are you using EMC 9 or Roxio Creator 2009?

What format is the video you are trying to add? What is the make/model of the camcorder? How did the video get to your computer?
Exactly what are you doing when you get the error message? What program are you using? What are your system specs?

You have given very little information other then "it doesn't work"
