What's the difference between Creator 2010 (newest version which requires a blu ray plug-in) and Easy Media Creator 10.2 which supports read/write of blu ray devices?

Do your own comparison here.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I have a Dell XPS M1530 with read/Write Blu Ray Disk.  Dell provided Roxio's Easy Media Creator 10.2 to support reading and writing Blu Ray disks.  It works fine.  Yet your comparison sheet indicates this software package doesn't support Blu Ray with or without any type of plug-in.  I don't understand?  Why does Dell furnish this software pre installed to support Blu Ray read/write and your comparison chart does not show it?

Please open the Roxio Home page. In the menu bar, select Help, then choose About this software. The first line gives the software's full name and the next line provides the version number. Can you please post those information.

Thank you.

It is a custom OEM version based on EMC 10 and has absolutely nothing in common with Creator 2010…

You do not have one of the products they have listed in their comparison chart. You have a custom OEM (as Jim also noted) variant of EMC v10 that had the Blu Ray added to it per Dell's spec's. The comparison chart only listed Retail versions of products, not the modified OEM ones. There are too many of those to list and vary quite a bit from OEM to OEM.
