DVD Builder Issue Program not loading

I have had EMC 7.5 for a while and didn't have any issues with burning. Recently, when I go to the main screen and select DVD Builder, I get the loading component and then it goes back to the main menu. I had thought it was due to the Napster program that came with my radio and since uninstalled it. After doing that, it still is not working. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks.

Try this download. Click on the exe file, after you download.
It was for EMC 7.1, but I believe that it worked in 7.5, too.

Have you installed Internet Explorer 7 or 8? If so, it broke your software.
How about Windows Media Player 10 or 11? Same scenario.

I checked WMP and it is version 9. For IE, it is blank when the about screen comes up. I think it might be 6. if it's 7, is there a fix for it?

I was finally able to find out that I have IE 6. Is there anything else I can do? My PC is old and I am still on Win2K ( computer kept giving me issues with the XP that was installed on it).
