I can use the usb 2861 to record audio and video with roxio creator 2009 in the video section of program. but cannot record in the audio section. It gives me the choice of 2861 but no sounds comes through it from audio input. usb 2861 is hooked up to amp with audio out

Have you installed the latest Service Pack for Roxio 2009?
