What screen resolution and Windows font size are you running? XP with what SP? What version of Internet Explorer?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

I'm having the same problem and made a posting in the Installation/Uninstallation/Update Forum:
http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?...st&p=293611
My posting includes a screen print of the "Welcome Screen". Check it out and see if looks the same as what you're seeing.

A follow up question, did you do the install from the downloaded files or off a disc?

I received an email from support this morning to download and install Service Pack 1 which I did but it still hasn't fixed the problem with the Welcome Screen.
I updated my OPEN ticket with Roxio Support who came back to me with the following:
Due to the extensive unsuccessful troubleshooting I have refunded the price of your software. You are welcome to keep it as is as a gratis copy from us. At this time we do not have any further resolution to your issue. Please keep an eye for future updates to the software.
I had offered to allow support to remote into my PC to undertake further investigation but they obviously weren't interested in doing so.
Time to checkout NERO!
Curiously enough, the Forum thread that I had originally opened on this problem has now been locked! No idea why. Anyway for anyone interested, the link to the thread is:
Creator 2010 Pro Installation, This screen doesn't look right

I'm no betting person, but I would bet it is because of your last sentence, in your last post of that thread.
And I didn't close it. Someone beat me to it.
Life is good!

Does that mean I've inadvertently caused the closing of this thread?
