You should only get that window if you have previously installed the product.
Have you done that before?
Have you done that before?

What software are you talking about? It might help if you were to supply some information

I am working with "photo story 3". I took a short class on this subject and I am able to work it, but I was told I needed "sonic dvd for photo story", to be able to download to a dvd and show the slide on the television. Now that I have downloaded the dvd program can I assume that it has made itself part of my "photo story 3"?
When I click onto the DVD icon on my desktop I just get the modify, repair, remove, window. Should I do anything with this?
Thanks

I am sorry, I know nothing about Photo Story 3 or how it "fits in" with Sonic. In fact I have not heard very much about "Sonic DVD for Photo Story".
Most people here are using some form of the Roxio products. If you do a google search on "sonic dvd for photo story 3" you will get lots of hits and perhaps some help

I moved your post here since that is an old Sonic application. I see at least one other post in this section of the forum but no response to it. You may want to seach in this section and/or the Microsoft web site for some help. The information I saw there was from almost 4 years ago and may not be relevant now.
Did you watch this MS how to (link)?
Does your computer meet the minimum requirements for this product? I doubt that it will run in Vista.
Minimum System Requirements
•Microsoft XP Home, XP Pro, 2005 (Symphony)
•Microsoft Photo Story 3
•Pentium III 700Mhz (or equivalent)
•256MB RAM
•10GB Hard Drive Space Available
•800x600 Display
•Windows-compatible sound card and speakers
•Windows-compatible mouse
•DVD-R(W), DVD+R(W)
•DirectX 9.0 or later
What video card do you have? Is it DirectX 9 compatable? Please post your computer specs. Contact support before the time is up to get help directly from Roxio/Sonic.
Try to use the remove button to get rid of it. If you can't, use Revo Uninstaller in the Moderate Mode (or less) to get rid of it. Then follow these directions to prepare your computer and then re-install. Remember one of the most important things is to shut down, not just pause, your anti-virus.
If you can't get it to work, you have 30 days to get a refund or consider an upgrade.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
