I noticed when editing the captured file and after burning it on a DVD the sound at higher musical notes gets distorted. I checked the tape and the distortion is not on the tape. I noticed in a topic similar to mine that there was a mention of the audio cable connections being the culprit. besides the cable connections are there any other suggestions to correct the problem.
thanks

yes the distortion is in the avi file
I am now in the process of testing the tape and the VCR I used.
testing completed
the vcr I used to capture the video leaves a lot to be desired. The tape is good as proved on another VCR.
I now know the direction to go
thank you
