I see some Black and White photos that will have one section stand out in color.  I have looked at the various edit tools but do not seem to be able to find it in PhotoSuite. Can we do that with this software? Thanks!!!

Here is one way to do it:

If you have a color image that you want to preserve the original color of a portion, open the image and Click on Change Objects tab (little toolbox/second/middle tab) and click on the Mask/Cutout by Color. Select the portion of your image that you want to be in color and click OK in the dialog window.

Go up to the top menu bar and click on Mask Layer and then on Invert Mask Selection. Click on the Enhance Your Photos tab  (third/last tab) and then on Fill Effects and choose Black and White. This will desaturate the entire image except for where you masked it off with your selection.

You can also use the Freehand Mask Cutout tool to make more precise selections to add effects to. More info here (link) on using the Freehand Mask Cutout tool.
