Hi,
I have neen trying ti install my downloaded software now for over a week without joy. I assumed at first my software would remove the previous version if required so left creator 2009 on the system. I then got this message after loading the software and trying to open the program,"I have down loaded, installed and rebooted my pc but when i open the program i get this error, "The setup must update files or services that cannot be updated while the system is running. If you choose to continue a reboot will be requiredd to complete the setup." I press "OK" I then get another message, The feature you are trying to use is on a network resourse that is not available. Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package RCPROD.msi in the box below. C:\Users\Kev\AppData\Local\Temp\WZSE1.TMP\ROXIOCENTRAL_50\ "
I have since been through so many different clean ups with the Roxio support team, including windows install clean up, H-key uninstalls, temp file clean ups, usser account off, start up programms off and I am still at the same position with the same error message. Any more ideas out there or anybody had the same problem?
Cheers Kev

Check out this article. Looks like its the same problem. Extract the files and and select the RCPROD.msi when prompted.

Hi, Thanks for that but I tried with my backup disc that arrived today. I still get the first part of the problem but not the RCPROD.msi missing. Now it keeps saying I need to reboot when I try to open it. I think though I have read that on another feed so will look through to see if I can find the solution to that. Support want me to reload Vista which I'm not to happy about doing!
