What are your system specs, especially graphics adaptor? The minimum specs stated by Roxio are a joke.
Have you defragged your hard drive lately, shut down the anti-virus check?

I'm having the same problem as PBerry. The audio drags in spots then it's OK for a few minutes. The video plays normally. I checked the VHS and it's good. In the Preview the video and audio are completely normal. When I capture the same video again, the drags are in different places. Roxio easy VHS to DVD is actually the first system to get both audio and video INTO my system. (Sorry, Dazzle)

I'll include my specs. Hope this helps others as well.

Hp dx7 Pavilion Notebook PC
Windows Vista Home Premium 64  bit sp2
AMD Turion X2 Dual Core Mobile RM-72 @ 2.1GHz
4 GB Memory
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
IDT High Definition Audio Device (?)

Followed you right up to the end… What do you mean “(Sorry Dazzle)”???

If you have a Dazzle device then you don’t even have the Roxio VHS to DVD device or software!

So what do you have?

Assuming you do have V2D, because you did say that too, do you have SP2 for that software applied? (Help – About – in the Version Number)

What is the free space on your HDD?
