OK - I'm new to this so I hop I explain it clear enough. I'm creating a DVD with numerous slideshows, which I'm adding as separate titles on menus. That is working great. I have also created a custom menu design as it is for a High school reunion. The problem is, when I go to preview the DVD and the titles are highlighted, a leaf is on the left and the title turns green to represent what title you are on. How do I change this? THanks!!!

You can change the button style to another preset design, but you can't make your own.

Thank you for the response, but unfortunately this is not a "button". I have already changed the buttons on the menu with no problem. This is something you can't see this until you go to preview. It is the way the titles are highlighted. It's what you woudl see if you truly had the DVD in the player and wanted to scroll through the titles. Does anyone know what I'm referring to?

Since you created your own custom menu its hard for anybody to "see" what you now have. I don't really understand what you want to change.

You created your custom menu from a standard menu that used a leaf for the button (probably leaf menu). Did you try to make a custom menu from a different standard menu that used a highlight that you could live with? One with text only might work. Aquarium has only images that highlight, cocktails has only text. You will just have to try and then preview and then try again.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Yes, what I showed you IS a button that plays the video. It just happens to have a thumbnail, too. Several of the predefinied Menu Styles uses thumbnail type buttons. Your original question was 'How do I change this?" and that is what I explained how to do. But if you meant how do you change the 'leaf' (the highlight shape), you can't. All the button highlights are predesigned and can not be changed. The only thing you can do is select a different button style.
