Whenever I try to burn an audio project made on Music disc creator, it ask for a blank cd, however if I select an MP3 project or Data CD, it burns the disk without a problem.
Any suggestions?

Si I want to do a regular audio CD, so I use "Music disc creator".
but when I try to burn the "created automix" it wont let me since the program ask for a blank cd.
Even when windows already recognizes the blank cd, Music disk creator ejects the tray and ask for a blank CD.
Now, if I try to burn data, "mp3 music disc" NOT DVD, Music disk creator works great with the same disk that previously was telling me that was "not blank."

What happens?
It works 100% with the "non-blank" blank disc.
but, still not able to make it work with the "automix" feature.
Do you want me to go for a clean install?

What is this “automix” feature you refer to, I can’t find anything with that name?
If you detail some steps, I will be happy to try it out and see what happens on my PCs.

To the OP are you using Roxio Creator 2010 or something else?
Edit: Found it; it is not called automix anymore. This is from the help files but doesn't answer the OPs original question. (Read more after the image)

To the OP. try burning to an image file when you go to burn. Name it and then change the location to where you want it. Once it completes, open Creator Classic and burn the CD file to a CD.

Someone firgive me
Is the "BEAT MIX" feature on Music Disc Creator.
But still, even if I just drag and drop files still will eject the tray asking for a blank disc.
But if I select MP3 disc for the same files and insert the same "non-blank" blank cd, music disc creator will burn it.

I used Music Disc Creator.Chose Audio CD.
Added a few tracks and hit Beat Match at the top.
A new window came up with the progress for the Beat Matching.
Once that finished the window went away.
I then hit Burn and the option screen came up.
Made sure I chose the correct drive (the one with the blank disc).
Hit ok and the disc burned just fine.In fact I'm listening to it as I type this.
When that burn options screen comes up is it showing a blank disc in the drive?
I had never tried this before and I must say it's kinda weird.
What ends up happening is the tracks overlap so there is no break between tracks.
You can hear the next playing while the previous is finishing.
I didn't do a lot of tweaking so that could be adjustable.
It would probably work better with a bit of tweaking.
Make sure to read the Help files on Beat Matching to get good results.

The box that pops ups and then tells you what type of media you need and where you can select the checkbox for creating an image and also for advanced burning options tells me that a blank disc is inserted after Windows had recognized it.
and then I click on burn, the process starts and then the tray ejects and roxio asks for a blank cd

If so and it's still asking for a blank then I'd consider doing a clean install and seeing if that clears the problem.
