After burning a DVD with several movies on it, the DVD Menu Selection that appears after the DVD is inserted into a DVD player does not function propertly. When using a Menu Style that is a list of text (like Momentos) referring to the name of each movie, only the first few letters of each menu text get highlighted. Specific for the Momentos Menu Style, none of the text of the first item ever gets highlighted. When using the Aquarium Menu Style, right half of the first selection gets highlighted, then the left half of the second gets highlighted, and the third never gets highlighted. The menu selection appears to work properly using the Preview function before I burn the DVD. I'm using Vista Ultimate on a new high-end computer.

What video card? There have been some issues like this being reported when MyDVD is set for 'software' render. Something seems to be broken and has been reported. Go to the menu TOOLS/ Options. Run the graphics test and see where the 'dot' remains afterwards. This tests how the video card handles certain DirectX 3D commands.

I do not get the same problem the OP has in the Mementos menu style but do notice a difference between the Hardware and Software mode: in Hardware the highlighted title also has a "right" arrow at the left of the item while in Software mode that arrow is missing.
