Hello,
I just bought and installed C2010Pro (I had faithfully bought the new version every year, but skipped 2009) and to my amazement, there was no installation selection screen as in the past. Now I ended up with some components such as BackOnTrack, that I have no use for! But I'm stuck with background processes that seemingly are impossible to stop from launching such as SAIBSVC.EXE. Then there is that P2P feature where I can share my media files - well, I don't want that either!
Is there a selective install option that I somehow missed?
How can I safely get rid of BackOnTrack and/or other components that I don't want running in the background?
(I've been using this program since version 3 (!) and during the Adaptec years, and still, with every new version there are problems.)
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
What Happened To Selective Install? I Don't Want/Need BackOnTrack!

I don't believe so.
I understand it was one of many things not included in this year's version. [-Perhaps to simplify matters ??]

is a clean format and reload of program (Disk #1) the only way to correct?

It is not a problem…
A couple of others have mentioned it but that is the way it was set up.

Yeh. It is bydesign to avoid co-existence issues.
