I have Disc Cover RE which came with the Toast Titanium 8.04 software I purchased. I use it to create nice covers for my DVD's. I use an Epsom RX 690 Injet printer to print onto the DVD's. I have two problems.

1. The only way I can get the application to quit is to go to Force Quit. Otherwise it simply does not respond.

2. I find great difficulty printing from the software. When I come to print onto a DVD I cannot locate my printer in the tray type box. The tray type I manage to print from after several attempts is the Epson RX 640 Full Coverage (CD Tray). It instructs me to go to print settings and select CD/DVD to print to. More often than not it is grayed out therefore it cannot be selected. This has been the case since I have had the software and is getting increasingly frustrating.

Could I please have some advice as to what I can do with both problems?

Thanks
Peter Sugden

I don't know why you're having the first problem. I have a newer version of Disc Cover RE than what is bundled with Toast 8 so I can't test your version on my system. The developer has an upgrade to the current full version available at a discount ($19.95) for Toast 8 and newer users. The full version can be installed and tested without purchasing to test if it works without the difficulties you're having.

The second problem may be related to an odd situation I have with my Epson R320. In order to use the CD labeling tray I have to first go to printer setup and choose A1 as the paper size. Give that a try to see if the option is no longer grayed out.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

I am using Disc Cover RE v1.3.3 so I think this is the most up to date version. I have also since realised that I am running Toast v8.0.5. I will try changing the paper type and see if this can resolve the tray selection problem.

Is see I mistyped A1 when I should have typed A4 as the paper size when printing on CDs with an Epson printer.
