I am attempting to load a number of audio clips into Sound Editor - some load while others are rejected: "file not found, or file not supported". I then go back to the rejected file and am able to play/hear it using another software program, e.g., iTunes or Windows Media.
The files are all .wav files that I recorded of family members talking about family history (not a downloaded file or a music track). They were all recorded using the same equipment and all play very well outside of Sound Editor.
My PC runs on VISTA home edition. Could this be a Vista problem? But then why do some files work while others (seemingly identical) do not?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
