Purchased 2 copies of Roxio 2009 several months ago and just now getting to use them.

Installed on my desktop using XP home with no issues, runs like a champ!

However installed on the wife's Sony Laptop running Vista and I am having issues.

Roxio itself starts up and I get the main window. I first try to go to "Photos" and "Create Slideshow".
I get the "Busy" icon as if the Slideshow box is going to open but it never opens (pop up window).
This goes for any of the applications withing Roxio.

I have shutdown the following just in case.

1. Windows firewall
2. Mcafee
3. Lavasoft Adaware

Still cannot open the individual apps. I hate to go through a unistall/install without understanding what the issue is.

Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Toby R.

Have you tried installing the SP4 update for Creator 2009? It can be found here:

There was a critical update installed on both PCs but did not know if it was called SP4 I will check it in the morning. Thanks Larry
