Since I'm given to understand that Creator 2009 won't recognize .jwl files created in older versions of Roxio products, how do I perform a custom install to install only the label creator utility from an earlier version (say, EZCD Creator-8), while I still have Creator 2009 installed? When I try, I get an intercept that says something like, "You despicable infidel. How dare you try and install some other version while you still have 2009 installed? The Creator will smite you into smithereens!" (or some such)
I have over 100 .jwl files that I need to access and use. I'm running XP-Media Center Edition. Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks,

The Actual text would be an important clue…

You probably not be able to install just the Label Creator. But you install the base program and leave out the fluff…

This is from EMC 9 but you get the idea what a Custom Install will look like:

I would install it and see what happens. Worse case you will have to uninstall both, then do EMC 8 followed by Creator 2009.
