I have a new MacPro. I have installed VM Fusion on it with Windows XP. Roxio 2009 and Roxio 10
won't work in this setup. I have been advised by Roxio that "they don't support virtual machines."
NO HELP! I then purchased Toast 10 and that's a lousy program for what I need and want.
I have LARGE opera files that I need to edit in Sound Editor so that I can break them into 79 minute
tracks....and then I burn these tracks onto disks. I also need to convert the entire file into an MP3 file
and burn that also onto one disk.
Spin Doctor will allow me to do the "breaks." But when I try to burn these tracks....it won't do it.
I have to transfer ONLY ONE TRACK AT A TIME to do the burning. Takes forever. When I try to do
the MP3, I first have to "convert" in ITunes and then supposedly transfer to Toast for an MP3 burn.
What I get is a blank disk and no music at all.
I want to know if the new 2010 will work with my Virtual Machine...so that I can work on this part of my computer. I'm frustrated.

Probably not - Virttual Machines use virtual hardware (and they're generally generic drivers and just can't cope with the processing required)
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed

1. Try this
2. Have you considered using "Bootcamp"
