I have dvd it 6 that came with my AVID program and I have yet to burn a DVD until now. Does DVD it 6 automatically reduce the file size to fit on a 4.7g DVD? I have a 25 gig QT movie (2 hrs, 5 minutes) that I need to burn.

I don't think that is an option. What does the project size indicator show when selecting a DVD5 disc type?

I dont seem to find the DVD5 choice anywhere. You may be correct in that this program wont do that..

Did you ever find anything on this? I'm about to finish making a home movie and expect the output file to be about 25 gigs and was hoping dvdit pro would just reduce the size for a 4.7 gig disk for me.
