I have an old version of Roxio Photosuite Platinum Edition Version 4 which I love.  I still have the cd cover  with all the serial numbers on it, but the discs were just destroyed and now I have a new computer.  Any way to get replacement discs on this?

Sure.  Take a stroll to e-bay.  You might find a version there.

Unless you bought a specialty computer with a very old operating system, I doubt that you can get that 10 year old program to run with either XP or Vista.  Note the information in this Kb article.  Looks like Windows 200 was the last compatible version.  There is ONE for sale on Amazon but I do not believe that spec that it would run on XP.   I believe that Photosuite 7 was the last stand alone version.  Version 7 worked on XP but probably not Vista.  You can get that at Amazon also.  For the price of Version 7, you can get the full suite of applications (Creator 2010 which includes Photosuite ) for $about $20-30 more if you look for discounts and coupons.

Also, you may have to pay a little more but if you buy it directly from Roxio's web site, you have a 30 day money back guarantee if you don't like it.  Ask for your money back around the 25 day mark.  That will give you time to play with it to learn it but also enough time to ask for your money back if there is a problem reaching them.

Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
