Just installed the software and it upgraded to version 1.0.3. Made my fist movie from a VCR. The quality of the video is terrible. The audio lags the video by a dramatic amount. Tried other tapes, same issue. The video quality is washed out looking. The video in the window of the software (and on the TV) is much better telling me my tapes are okay. Are you folks seeing the same thing? Anyone found a solution? Thanks for your help. Bill

That's odd. If anything, the device is preset a little dark with the blacks pushed a bit. There shouldn't be any audio sync issue, either. What OS version are you using? Have you tested using a different USB port? Also, be sure to preview it only in actual size and not full screen. I'm puzzled by what you're seeing.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

I am running Snow Leopard 10.6. I am running it in preview mode and not full screen. I will try another USB port (worth a shot) Thanks.

Put it on a USB port on my iMac instead of the hub. Problem solved. Video good, audio no longer lags. Thanks for the help.
