New toys (JVC-HD Camcorder) require new AVCHD software and I've narrowed my product selection down to two with the Roxio Creator 2010 Pro topping the list. Please forgive me in advance if I've posted this query to the wrong topic but it is a pre-sales question that I haven't found answered on any of the tutorials, product descriptions/comparisons, or on any of the forums I've been reading thoroughly.
The software bundled with my camera (Everio MediaBrowser) has the ability to capture a single frame of a video (mts format) and save that frame as a JPG file. Quite handy for my compilations of videos and stills as well as for sharing standard photos with friends and relations.
Is this functionality available in Roxio Creator 2010 Pro? Thanks in advance for advice!

Thanks so much to both of you! Your pointers are GREAT! Now that I've found and downloaded the User Manual, I'll be able to do even more research on the other small features that I'm looking for. Thanks so much for your time!
