I am having the same problems as well. I tried to create a video dvd with menu selections, but it didn't work on the dvd and when I tried to load an image file. It works fine when you try to view it in the program itself, but it doesn't work durning the encoding process. What is going on?

If it works in the preview then you do not have the same problem as is being discussed in the forum.
It would be best to start a new thread giving a bit more detail on your problem

BTW, how can you tell it's not working during the encoding process? blink.gif

He meant he did a Preview in MyDVD and the menus worked.

But they don’t on the burned disc.

Do you mean you created an iso image file and tested that by playing it on a Virtual Image player? But you said in your first post that that did not work?

If you did a preview via the program then that does not really tell you if the encoding process works or not.

I did do a preview within the mydvd program from Roxio Creator 2010 pro program. It worked fine, but when I burned it to image file the menu serlections wasn't highlighted like they were within the program.

And here is my computer info you asked for from before

Gateway GM5266e Desktop computer
6gb of memory
Nvidia 9400 gt graphics card
320 hard drive
intel core 2 duel e 6400

I should have everything to make this program work but I don't know why I am having a problem in the mydvd section, please help me

Exactly what is the problem with your menu selection?
What menu style are you using? What is your render setting in File/Tools/Options? Is it software or hardware?

The preview is not a real test of the encoding process.

I have the program runnig in hardware mode, and to answer your last question, every time I run the image file or burn my project to disk, it wont highlight the selections on the dvd menu screen. And I used Steel Viens and then I also tried the business theme. Both gave me the same problem. No highlighted selections in the main and sub menus. Can you help me fix this problem, or at least come up with an update for the program to fix this?

We're users just like yourself. Every once in awhile, someone from Roxio will read through the forum and respond. When Roxio releases updates, they are posted in the support section / Software Updates here.
Only thing we can suggest is make sure you have your video card drivers updated. If you are using XP, make sure you have the latest updates to DirectX 9. That won't apply to Vista. With 6GB RAM, you're most likely running 64bit Windows, too.

That is all the memory that a 32bit Windows can access. If you want to use all of that 6GB, you need to run 64bit.
