Yes, a bit but so what? You probably won't notice it but it depends on your CPU and other hardware. Do you want quality or quantity?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Would it really? I would think that a SP setting requires a lot more compression and would that not involve a lot more "work"?
To me the lower quality settings don't matter since I would never consider anything below HQ
