I am recording different parts of VHS movies, trying to edit out the boring stuff, and then when I want to play the DVD each separate clip is a separate movie; however, I can only see Movie 1, Movie 2 and Movie 3 to choose from. Is there a way to combine the whole DVD into one film?

What version of Roxio software do you have, so someone can move your post to the proper forum?

Did you use capture to disc? If you are planning to edit, you should capture to a file on the hard drive. The edit those files in Videowave. When finished, use MyDVD to create the DVD menus and add the edited files to create buttons.

I assume you have captured different parts of the VHS video as different video files (Hopefull in avi format for ease of editing).
If that is the case then launch Videowave and navigate to where you saved the captured clips. Then select all the clips you want to add and add them. If you switch to the storyline you should see all the clips you selected, each in its own panel. You will propable have to re-arrange them to get the sequence you want. You can also add them one add a time in your desired seuqence. You may get a pop-up window asking where you want to add the new clips.
You can then save your project using Save As as a dmsm project file. Exit Videowave and launch myDVD and the using Add, add the dmsm file. All your video clips will be "combined" into one continuous movie
