setting the volume

When you burn songs to a CD is there a way to set it up so that the volume of all of the songs will be the same when the CD is played back.

Yes. That is called Normalize. It's been awhile since I looked at Toast 8 but it should be an option in the Disc menu.

Thanks tsantee, there is a Normalize Track under the Disc menu is that what you mean.   I guess you highlight all of your songs at one time and click on it to get it to do it's  thing.
