So I am trying to burn a blu-ray to a dvd5. I first tried with 10.0.2. When it went to encode the 720p video I got the OSX error result code -50 message. Any idea what that means and what to do? I then upgraded to 10.0.3 and I still get the same error. I am running OS 10.5.8 on a macbook pro.

And the video was compressed with Apple's ProRes 422 HQ.

I just bought toast 10, and I am having the same result code.  -50

I am trying to import AVCHD files and convert them, so I can use them in Final Cut.

Other people have no problems with it, but I do.  It worked a couple times, but the -50 result code comes up every time I go to convert.

I'll let you know if I make any headway.  Let me know if you find anything out, as well.

Thanks,

John

My understanding is that it should work with Toast 10.0.4. Choose Save as disc image and then burn the disc image using the Image File setting in Toast 10.0.2. Yes, for now you'll need to have both versions available.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
