The installation CD does not work on my PC! I took back the first one, thinking it was faulty, but the new one won't work either. My PC recognizes all other CDs, but will not recognize the Roxio CD. Any suggestions?

It's a DVD and not a CD - are you sure you put it in a DVD drive and not a CD?

Whatever the installation thingy is - DVD? CD? I only have one slot to put it in - and my PC reads both CD & DVD's, but not the installation thingy (Roxio Creator 2010)!

Based on one of the OP's reply posts, I guess he can read DVD's, gi7omy ??

As gi7omy asked, can you read "other DVD's besides the Roxio one ???Check your "Device Manager" under DVD/CD drives and look at the properties for your single drive and see what it says.
