I have a Dell computer with Vista. I have burned a few MP3 discs in Music Disc Creator (Roxio Creator 2009) and all my file names get truncated to 64 characters, plus I lose the artwork that I have attached to each album.

For the filename, I have tried Joilet and UDF, No Bridge options. Neither made any difference. As for the album artwork, I am baffled why that is not being transferred. It always did in earlier versions of Roxio. But when I check each MP3 song, it says No Artwork Available. They are all blank. Very odd.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This software is very frustrating.

I also noticed that when I played the burned CD, that some of the album titles and track numbers were changed during the burn process as well. I checked my original files on my hard drive and sure enough, Roxio had changed them. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but this software seems to have a mind of its own.

I can see why this is a popular forum, as it appears everyone has problems with this software.

Tried it with Joliet – can’t duplicate your problem…

Clean Install:
Vista
XP
