I have Roxio easy media creator 9 and my video wave will not go to timeline. it only shows the windows. this also limits my editing and cuts out any chance of using zoom and pan. cant reinstall because i bought online downoad. now i cant redownload because i no longer have that debit card so i cant find my online proof of purchase. the software is registerd? what is the point of registering if i cant get tech support without paying 3.99 a min. really need help in how to fix this error in the program. any one know what i can do to fix this. or how i can reinstall it.

You are up the proverbial creek. Roxio does not support that version, its 3 versions back from the existing software. Obviously you did not make a DVD copy of your download.....you could try calling Customer Service on Monday to see if you can get a sympathetic person that will
help you.

I am not aware of any "fix" for your problem, other than a clean install/reinstall, which of course is not possible for you without  a new download or installation disc.

Good luck

So what happened to the downloaded files? Did you delete them?

Do you have the full version or an OEM or other limited edition.  I remember that a version has only a slide show version and really didn't do any video editing.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
