Well that is not the best way to go about and could be part of the problem…

Create your projects in VideoWave and Save Project. – don’t export!

Add the VW Projects to MyDVD. There is no point in encoding until you are ready to output.

You should try outputting to File (ISO) until you get this nailed down or at least use RE discs.

What is the total length of the project (time)?

Does VW create a Proxy file when you add the clips in there?

I have tried creating projects in VideoWave and then adding them to MyDVD, and my project is also sticking after the first of two VideoWave items.  I also tried joining the two sections together with no menues, and still it stuck just under halfway through.  I have a brand new Sony camcorder, HD and widescreen, a brand new computer with more than enough RAM and space on the hard drive, and a brand new built in Blue Ray Rewriter.  It cannot be the discs (Verbatim) as they will work with just 4 small files.

Just to clarify - are you making blu-ray discs or AVCHD discs?  One or more discs in a package could be bad.  Have you tried RE discs?

Could you explain "stick"  does that mean stop, jitter, pause, etc?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
