I upgraded to creator 10 but asked for a refund after I found out that creator 10 doesn't really work with Windows Vista. SO I went back to creator 9, created a project that I need for tomorrow morning. got it all finished and then found out that creator 9 can't find my DVD write drive! I can use the DVD write drive fine from windows and other programs but not from creator nine... ANybody can help? For three days now I have tried everything, including cleaning up all the sonic and roxio files, cleaning up the registry and painstakingly downloading creator 9 over again. It downloads the first file fine, but stops and shuts down once the first file is downloaded. Please someone help me!!!!! Ineed to get this done!

Try this:
http://images.roxio.com/en/support/pxengine3_00_58a.zip
To install the PX Engine:
- Download the version here to your desktop.
- Unzip the file.
- Double click the .exe installer and follow the on screen instructions.
Note: The PX Engine installer may require a reboot after installation.

There is an Easy Media Creator 10 and a Creator 2010. Both work very well with Vista, so if yours doesn't, you have something wrong with your computer, or you got a bad install.
There is an Easy Media Creator 9 and a Creator 2009. What programs are you talking about, since none of what you have mentioned are actually names of the programs.
Life is good!

What version are you talking about? There is a EMC 9, a EMC 10, a Creator 2009 and the latest Creator 2010.
All of these versions work with Vista especially the versions EMC 10, And C2009 and C2010.
Do you mean downloading from the Roxio website? Or are you referring to installing the downloaded software? It avoids confusion if you make sure you are using the correct terminology and refer to the correct program suite by its full name.
