I'm talking about a bug that our fellow user experienced in this thread:
http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=50551
I would like to know if Roxio support team has an explanation for this behaviour.
I've already tried the proposed solution of trashing all the Toast 10 preferences files, but with no luck. I was really skeptic about this solution: if the preferences were corrupted Toast would have crashed on start up at every launch, not just when trying to compress a costumized video-ts folder.
Any significative help is really appreciated.

Just to update my trials. I find out that one of the software i Bought few months ago with a MacUPdate promo bundle was DVD Remaster Pro, which is a dedicated software for DVD extraction and compression. I have to say that DVD Remaster succeeded where Toast 10 failed.

I'm posting my experiences hoping to help anyone else could be in the same trouble. I've been spending a few hours this Saturday trying to compress with the fit-to-DVD option customized video_ts folders, from which I decided to exclude some items (menus, tracks). Many of these DVD are made of music live exhibitions collected during several years. I am just in need to rearrange them, so I thought that Toast 10 could help. I have to say, that in my experience Toast 10 is completely unable to fit a customized video_ts folder using the fit-to-DVD option, it simply crashes just at the beginning of the process. I suggest Roxio team to stress this inability in the description of their software in order to avoid misunderstanding with their customers.
I suggest for this kind of tasks to use other softwares, like DVD remaster Pro that I mentioned before: actually this software was capable to recompress all the customized video_ts folders I fed to it, without any fail.
My two cents
