Thanks,

First, you have to have a Blu-ray drive on your PC!
Roxio Creator 2010 will not play Blu-ray discs right out of the box. You have add the Blu-ray Player plug-in (Here-Accessories).
Not to be confused with the similar High-Def/Blu-ray Disc Plug-In which only adds the ability to Author/Burn BD discs… That is the one included in the 2010 Pro version.

Also,as I think Jim has found out,it's best to use Vista or above on your PC.

C10 is not the same as C2010. Bluray playback plugin is for C2010 and yes it works just fine if that is the query. It will playback protected and non-protected Bluray media.

Lets not confuse folks more!
There is a Easy Media Creator 10 ( EMC 10) came out Fall 2007 and a Roxio Creator 2010 ( C2010 ) came out August 2009...

gcdyer: As you may have noted, please call it 2010 so we are on the same page
You must have the Blu-ray Player plug-in to view a BD movie!!!
And that Plug-In only works with 2010 or 2010 Pro.
Now back up a little… If you bought a Blu-ray (ROM or Burner) drive, it most likely came with viewing software???
This works a lot better when you lay out your expectations up front… We will then be able to tell you just what you would need to fulfill them. For example, if you had a BD drive, no software and only want to look at BD movies… Roxio sells CinePlayer® BD. Can’t burn a thing but it will play DVD’s and BD’s till your eyeballs fall out
