Newbie here so be gentle please.

Product Roxio Easdy Media Creator 10 and I own it, it is my original disc

I purchased a new Gateway Vista 64 bit computer to replace an old HP machine. It has 8 GB DD3 RAM, 1TB Hard Drive and the built in HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH40F dvd drive. About a week agi my system locked up, and in trying to free it, I killed something essential, and had to recover using the Recovery App and Driver disk I had created. Since then, when I go to burn an .avi file to DVD ( something i had been able to do int he past( I get a "No Disc Burners are Avaialble"
I can play DVD, play audio and when it was working right, I could use + - and RW as well as DL discs without issue.
I have only got the one original DVD burner, any suggestions????

Thanks for your help

# 7.in my signature, Drive Not Recognized By Roxio, PX Engine 3_00_58a. Full Installer.

Download it to a new folder you make on your desktop, unzip it in that folder, double click on the pxengine3_00_58a.exe, when it's done reboot the pc and see if it fix's things...
