Definite what you mean.  Video?  C2010 includes PhotoShow Express which can create a scrapbook type video.  If you are talking about PRINT.  C2010 includes PhotoSuite which has some abilities for scrapbook type projects using the Photo Projects Assistant.

I'm looking at creating colourful pages with images, videos, and text....like a scrapbook. The output will be an AVCHD video which I think rules out Photoshow.

The project is a family history so I thought the colourful backgound and B&W pics would look good.

You can do something like that in Videowave, but would have to be manual.  Fairly easy to add still images and HD video together.  Add some scrapbook type PNGs as overlays, etc.

Yes I can certainly do that. Another option I was thinking would be to buy a scrapbooking package, build the individual pages, then out put each page as a high res jpeg and import them into videowave to create the video.
