I have tried to do spanning using Toast 7.0.1. I have run into the same problem as user "artroom" in his May 5 post. Toast burns the multiple disks but when I try to restore Toast gives an error message saying the "Disc index file not found" and "To restore data, please open Roxio Restore from a spanned CD or DVD created with Toast". My only option then is to Quit, so I can't use the Restore app.
The responses to artroom say try 7.0.2. I have seen other posts that report bugs with 7.0.2. Before I go deeper in the hole here, has it been verified that 7.0.2 fixes the spanning problem? Is 7.0.2 still reporting bugs?
Thanks for the usual excellent responses on this forum.

This is listed as changes in 7.0.2 which looks like the exact issue you had
* Includes Roxio Restore v1.0.2 which resolves an issue related to not finding the index file during restore. This version is automatically added to the Application Support/Roxio folder on your hard disk when you run Toast. All existing spanned discs will detect and use this newer version during the restore process.
I never had the issue you encountered so I can't verify for you if the issue you have is fixed or not... However, do you know ANY software that doesn't have bugs even with all the patches and updates? I'm sure that 7.0.2 is still reporting bugs...

Here is a tip if you want to be safe:
If get the 7.0.2 upgrade, you can keep the 7.0.1 version on your system as well and run them both. Just put them in different folders and name them in a way that makes it easy to keep track of which one you are running.
